At HISP, we offer a school-centred teacher training programme that combines the expertise of Teaching School Hubs, Research Schools and experienced training providers with the personalised support of a local hub. We are proud that Inspiring Future Teachers was recognised by Ofsted as STRONG STANDARD across all areas, reflecting the quality of our training and support.

With a partnership of over 80 schools and growing, trainees benefit from a wide range of placement opportunities across Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. At the same time, we maintain the close relationships and individual support that help every trainee thrive.

From day one, you'll be immersed in school life, learning alongside expert mentors, subject specialists and dedicated Hub Leaders. Our PGCE assignments are carefully aligned to our Intensive Training and Practice (ITaP) weeks, ensuring that academic learning directly complements your classroom experience. Weekly in-house training sessions further strengthen the link between theory and practice.

Trainee wellbeing sits at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to helping trainees develop the confidence, resilience and expertise needed for a successful teaching career. Our outcomes speak for themselves, with over 98% of trainees successfully completing the course and securing employment in teaching, many within the schools where they trained.
