During his 16 years working in education, Tom has demonstrated a strong commitment to enhancing student outcomes across a range of educational settings and contexts. As a Head of Department, he led a high performing team that achieved significant success with their students. After establishing himself as an education leader, Tom joined Ormiston Academies Trust as Regional Lead Practitioner of English, where he was responsible for curriculum design and teacher development across multiple schools. Having recently joined The Bishop Fraser Trust, as Director for Teaching and Learning, he continues to advocate for high-quality teaching and believes great teachers inspire, motivate and empower students to excel both inside and outside of the classroom.
